Why Can't I Be Loved?Why can’t I be loved too?  
 
I ask this question all the time.     
I may not be as pretty as a movie star  Or as thin…   
But what I am is not what I look like  Oh no, far from it!   
Look inside my heart, and see who I am   
I can be as true as any puppy,  I’ll never desert or abandon you.  I’ll always be on your side  Even when you are wrong.   
I am as caring as any nurse,  I’ll make your hurts go away.  I’ll be there beside you no matter what,  Whether the pain is inside you or out.

Update on Life

Long time, no post...

Okay, between school and having surgery, I haven't had a chance to do much as far as this site. I really have missed writing, but haven't had the time to do anything other than the papers for school. Oh, and of course feel like crud.

Having surgery on your stomach makes you have a whole new appreciation for food and babies. You suddenly realize why they are turning away and throwing the food back at you... it is NASTY! Unless, that is, you heat it, and season it. People with children, please take note: Your child will eat better if it has some kind of flavor, besides cardboard.

I'm down 12 pounds in three weeks, 9 of which were the first week. It will take a while, but being able to watch my kids and grandkids grow will be worth it.

Try to have a good holiday, even if the commercialization gets to be too much.
